2024 Rome

Following an invitation from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Cepi showcased a selection of innovative fibre-based products at the 27th Session of the FAO Committee on Forestry (COFO 27) and the 9th World Forest Week, held in Rome from 22–26 July 2024.

Bringing together more than 1,000 delegates from 108 countries, COFO 27 focused on advancing forest-sector innovation and the role of sustainable forestry in the bioeconomy transition.

The selected exhibits demonstrated how European forest-based industries are delivering renewable, recyclable and low-carbon alternatives that support climate goals and a circular bioeconomy.
